Justifying apartment change

Dear all,

I'm applying for apartment and have trouble to justify the "Grund fur Wohnungwechsel". Is "current price too high" and "location suits me better" good reasons?

If I mention in cover letter that from this location I have better access to sport facilities, is this any helpful?

Your Neighbors: too loud, too smelly, too weird, too non-conformist, not respecting the house rules, not Swiss enough.

That question is not something people are allowed to ask, except under very specific circumstances - but they try it anyway, same as "what is your net income" (when one only has to answer with a number in 10k increments).

Do not mention finances as it'll immediately mark you as a potential risk. Just say (relating to the flat you're applying for) that you have good access to sport facilities, public transport is close by etc. Best not to rant about the current/past lease if possible.
