I don't live far from there. The whole quartier is known as Chailly and is very close to CHUV, the hospital. If you look on Google Maps you can see the #6 bus line and the #7 bus line. Each of these buses run every 7 minutes or so and are very handy and convenient. It's a clean, safe and relatively quiet neighborhood. The Sallaz metro stop is close by. There are some good mom & pop type restaurants to walk to. There is a FABULOUS gourmet grocery store in Chailly.

What else do you want to know?

Re: Living in Chemin du Devin, Lausanne

You have Migros, Denner, Coop banks and pharmacies nearby and one hour free parking in Migros - love Chailly - nice mix of people - quite a few wealthy retirees from France and people from the villas of "La Conversion" and "Belmont" who come and do their shopping from their villas, be careful in the parking, they can be quite ancient and have quite a personal way of driving.

Also there are people who are new arrivals from Europe who live in the apartments by the main road.

La "Maison du quartier" in the Avenue de la Vallonette has quite a few activities which you need to check out.
