Pellet or Wood burning stove ?
Hi, we have a big (8m*5m) room and would like to put in it either a wood burning stove or a pellet heater. THere will be one radiator to provide some background heat but the main heating would be from the stove.
The wood burner obviously looks nicer and has an attractive ambiance, but how long in general do they actually stay hot ? If someone put that on in the evening and were staying in the room, would it heat the room until morning (assuming it has stone exterior for example to retain heat) ? The pellets are less attractive visually but they do have the advantage of long term constant heat.
Also, does anyone know cost different between the two on a running basis ?
Thanks
Mike
