change of ownership and outstanding payments

I have a problem - once I bought my house - I was informed by local community that road next to my house will be repaired and there is a part that I have to cover .
Now - community has decided about that - 3 days before ownership change took place - so Geminde sent that information to ;original; owner (at that time) while he responded that he is no longer an owner and things been sent to me.

Is it legal - if decision was made (by Verwaltung) before I was made an owner - while work is not even started now and would be finished within next 6 months ?

Should I look for lawer or let it be – or go to Gemainde and ask to open up a case for that – what would be ground for that ?

Thanks in advance

hoover

Re: change of ownership and outstanding payments

is there a group for the street dwellers where they've been preparing for this financial occasion? My street puts a little money away each year.

don't know that however Gemainde/community pays 60-70% - remaining 40-30 is shared based on land size .

if the number is large enough, an hour of professional advice should suffice to confirm whether you are exposed to this charge. That's what I'd do.

Re: change of ownership and outstanding payments

just 400chf extra to find out that it may cost about 2-3k for lawyer to find whenever it's legal or not and who should pay . He didn't mention that I could open up a case with Gemainde - when I asked he stated that 'yes - that's other possiblility' - when I asked on what ground that 'case' works - does internal lawyer is consulted by Gemainde - answer was "I don't know - this is not my part of work".

Once again – I’ve learned that lawyers in this country don't care until you are milliner ...
