But they sell boxspring beds, something I haven't seen in flats in this country. So if you're British you might like this shop.

They are somehow related to Conforama, often both have same products... it's basically quality level of Conforama.

Also Lipo and Conforama are (December 2017) second in furniture sales in Switzerland after Ikea.
I didn't know all this either but you made me do a quick check.
Sorry German info, Tages-Anzeiger Dec. 2017.

Bought both my bed and cupboard at Lipo and am extremely happy with both. The bed is a boxpring and the best I've ever had. Delivery was on-time, installation quick and without any issues, and the cost for both very reasonable.

Go to the shops, look at the things you like, you can easily judge whether they look rather solid or like cheap-shit. It they seem solid but are cheap, they are perfect | This user would like to thank curley for this useful post: | |

I still wonder why people keep complaining from both lipo and comforama! | | | | | Because it's not fancy high-end stuff probably. Or as curley says, because they love to complain.
There is cheap-looking stuff in both, but there also is in Ikea. There's plenty of stuff I wouldn't by at any of them, but almost everything is a matter of taste or preference.
Go have a look in one of the Lipo stores. Btw - I was able to customize the cupboard the way I wanted it, same goes for the bed, there was a choice between not only sizes and colors, but also mattresses etc.

Of course everyone has different tastes...as is clear from the replies.

It is a mini Ikea.
Quality is ok on furniture, low on small objects, linen, etc.
What I hate with them is that if you return some merchandise, they give you vouchers and not cash.
So you are stuck with them.

We found a sofa at Lipo that we like. Did you buy one there? If so, are you satisfied with it? Thanks

I still wonder why people keep complaining from both lipo and comforama! | | | | | Because I have very poor experience. Furniture fell apart in less than 06 months. Multiple calls to them made no difference. No refunds or repairs. Finally we threw it away. Never again.

Does anyone have experience with their box spring L sofa sofabeds? I recently bought one for 1000CHF which will come in a couple of weeks. When I tested it at the shop it felt good. But I am curious about the logetivity of their sofas. I felt like the IKEA sofas looked like they wouldn't last long which is why I opted for lipo. And I believe box springs sofas tend to last longer.

You can buy a decent quality wardrobe from a Swiss manufacturer (Jutzler) at many stores, Pfister, Livique, Mikasa, Conforama, Otto's, Lipo, just to name a few. Pricing can vary greatly. You can also buy a good quality bed from Hasena at many of these stores.
It's not where you buy it, but who the manufacturer is.

| | | | | This is a good point and doesn't just apply to furniture.
So many products are just re-branded products from other companies, especially electrical goods but with google, it's easy to find more about them.
It's quite revealing that some "quality" shops are actually selling cheap tat with a high mark up and conversely, some discounters are selling quality at a bargain price.

Thanks! Annoyingly Lipo's items don't have reviews next to them. But it is the most reasonably priced box spring sofa I could see online. I guess I will test it out more when it arrives. It is TIAMO which is a brand I'm unfamiliar with but it felt comfortable when I tested it out briefly at LIPO. But natually it's the long term durability I care about.
I avoided the 400 CHF IKEA L sofa as it looked rather cheap and wasn't convinced that it would last more than 2/3 years with daily use.
