Electricity Connection

We're going to rent a house just outside of Rolle -- could anyone explain how the electricity connection is arranged?

Re: Electricity Connection

you mean for billing? The landlord will probably let the electricity firm know.

It's likely to be already connected with hot and cold running water as well as electricity

Re: Electricity Connection

Hi there -- Thanks for the speedy reply! I don't think they did because we were told that we'd need to do it. The house had been empty for a while as it was completely refurbished. Do you happen to know the name of electricity company/ies servicing Rolle -- or recommend a website where I can find out? Thanks so much!

Re: Electricity Connection

I think you will come under Energie Romande - if I am wrong I will pm you and dig out a bill with the correct name

Re: Electricity Connection

Thanks so much for your reply. Unfortunately, they don't have a number that can be reached from abroad anywhere on the their site.

I've written to them using their online form and hopefully they will be quick to reply! Cheers

Re: Electricity Connection

I just called them and they assured me that the 0848 802 900 number works from abroad. Have you tried it?

Re: Electricity Connection

Thanks for your message -- I'd tried it yesterday and couldn't get through -- probably mis-dialled.

But tried it again today, and it does indeed work. Thanks everyone for being so helpful!
