For the past 4 years I have been renting a room in a house in Zug. The period of notice on my rental contract is three months. I have now (in January) handed in my notice as I will be moving at the end of February. However, my landlady does not want to take in any other tenant for March or April as she will be renting the entire house to friends of hers from June. My question is: Do I have the right to sublet my room for the months of March and April? (or is there any other way I can get out of paying for these months?).
