Gas and Electricity Prices per month

I have a 6,5 piece villa, on 2 floors. I don't know the exact size, but I think it's around 200 / 250sqm...

Does anyone have similar size property, and mind sharing what they pay for electricity and gas please?

We have heated floors, and radiators, but only use one at a time

Rough indication is fine, thanks

If you have to ask, you can't afford it.

Should have thought of that before getting such a big place

One wing of my butler's butler's house is that small. I might ask him.

Re: Gas and Electricity Prices per month

Electricity is approximate CHF 0.20/kWh.
Gas is approximatly CHF 0.12/kWh at Saint-Légier-La Chiésaz
http://gaspreise.preisueberwacher.ch/web/index.asp

Now multiply it with what you get from here:
http://www.ekz.ch/de/private/kontakt...verbrauch.html

Re: Gas and Electricity Prices per month

Ok I'll wave my willy too then.

My last place was similar size, 7.5 piece, electric was ~320 every 3 months. That was not for heating, just lights, cooking, washing machine, dryer etc.

Well he has a certain point. You have asked a question that is impossible to answer, even to give you a rough estimate.

You don't know how big your villa is, there is 25% difference between 200 and 250m....

We don't know if you like to live in t-shirts with heating high or jumpers with heating low.....

We do not know if the garage for the Tesla is heated

Do you intend to charge the Tesla from the garage or are you planning charging at your employer's expense ?

As a base, take Chf 10k and expect a nice rebate

We are nearly all tied to one supplier, so the price is a poor comparison. We would need to know the amount of power you use. When I lived in Bern I was offered 3 different tariffs: sun, water, nuclear power. Here I am only offered water power.

As you only use one room, why not move to a smaller apartment?

Even metaphorically the point stands. The OP was talking about a Tesla 3

If the OP was asking about how much it would cost to heat his garage so that his Lamborghini is kept at the same temperature all year then I would concur that his phallus had been removed from his trousers and was doing an Apache impression.

So, 800 per month? great...

I don't own a Tesla, never have, this was someone else.

I was only wondering what other people with similar sized properties as a point of comparison.

My apologies if I offended the English population of Switzerland with the apparent size of my house...

I'll leave all you lot to talk about willies and tesla's

Thanks for all your help

Who said we only use one room? What are you talking about?

So now, I own a Tesla, I heat it in my garage, my entire family live in one room, my salary is too small, I have a small willy and we should all move to a smaller apartment.

And you've deduced all this from one single question - what a bunch of geniuses you all are...

Re: Gas and Electricity Prices per month

Depends how your house is heated and what tariffs you have set up. Electric heating is pricey, Geothermal is (probably) the cheapest.

Without more details, it's a bit of a "how long is a piece of string?" question.

Re: Gas and Electricity Prices per month

I believe there was confusion over your radiators and heated floor - you only use one at a time - seems to have been interpreted as one room.
Can you not ask the supplier for the previous occupants bills?
We just got a quarterly estimate based on the previous tennant when we moved into our appartment, which was adjusted after a year - downwards in our case.

I have electric heating only and pay on average 400 per month.
