Wintergarten renovation

hey folks,
We recently bought a house in dubendorf, with a nice wintergarden attached, which is 25 years old and needs some maintenance/ renovation...

It has motorized shutters, but the roof ones are no longer coming out, as well as one of the glass in the roof needs to be replaced too.

Now after some detective work in google and a few phone calls, we traced the guy who installed it originally, but after a 3 months wait, it was a bit of a disappointment, he came for 4 hours and "fixed" 3 shutters, which stopped working after 3 days, dropped a tool which made a hole in the floor and didn't feel like mentioning it, left all our place dirty and after another 2 months of wait sent us a huge bill for his half of day of work, plus a quote on 5 figures to fix the listed problems...
Needless to say, we don't like him...

Anyone has any recommendations on companies to ask for quotes for wintergarden renovations?

Thanks,

Re: Wintergarten renovation

With some luck maybe you can find an "ausstellung" wintergarden to buy. Repairs to a 25 year old one make little sense unless you have a well insulated glass installed.

Is your winter garden heated?

Thanks,

Don't waste your time contacting the company where you live.(Jardina).
They didn't even bother to contact us after we sent a detailed email and a telephone call after hearing nothing. They obviously just can't be bothered.

We have just done an intensive search to redo our wintergarden glass. We went with someone local. Did you find anyone yet?
