I am going to be relocating to Zurich from the UK on 20th July with a work colleague of mine and we will be looking for an apartment as soon as possible.

I am male and 28 years old and she is female and 35 years old. We are both non smokers and professional people working for a large company in Zurich. We will be looking for somewhere possibly for 3-6 months but can accomodate any timescale a month or more. We will be working in Zurich 8008 so the closer to there the better but we will look anywhere.

Any help will be gratefully recieved.

You posted this a while ago but in case you have not found anything we have a lovely 2 bed apartment in Zurich available in July when we relocate back to England. The apartment can be let furnished or unfurnished. The apartment is a 69m2 light and spacious garden flat with nice terrace. If you are still interested let us know

As is usual in Zurich with relocation we take these apartments on and then have to relocate.We are going back to England. With this contract that we have you can take it over and it can be as long as you want the contract for. The apartment is on the number 7 tram minutes to city direct. We are in zone 8051 Zurich. The cost is 1800 CHF per month.

We paid two months deposit for a long let but maybe the managing agents would take less. Or you could take over our contract until end September and pay two months deposit with the next rental due August 1st. The apartment is our furniture which we were going to get rid of here in Zurich as nice as it is but not economical to cart all back to England so you would end up with an apartment of furniture that can be disposed of at the end or we do a deal (dont mind) One thing is do you have any residence permit here as it is a requirement of these agents in Zurich to rent this is why everyone goes through relocation agents.

At the moment we do not have a residence permit but this is being sorted out through my company at the moment and I will have this as soon as I get to Zurich on 21st July.

To start of with I am moving thier with a work colleague who is starting on the same day and then my wife will be joining me in a few weeks and my work colleague will get a place herself.

What is the easiest way to secure this? Will it be to take over your rent directly or go to the management company. I am really sorry about all the questions!
