Noisy Indian Neighbours

i live in an apartment building and my neighbors are Indian directly from Bangalore

They are in fact a mother and son. The son is in his late 20's and mother looks 60 and i think they both share a bed? That is weird!

The walls of the building are very thin and they do not show any consideration, they slam doors and the mother keeps shouting and arguing with her son who works here. I do not know why she loves with him here?

She just shouts and shouts at him and they have no consideration to the rules that after 10pm there should be silence.

the other day they went out for a trip and came back at 4 am slamming doors and shouting.

What can I do ?

I have shouted at them to shut up through the walls but they continue to disrespect the country and the rules.

no that's us why I pay taxes. so the police can also tell them not to be loud and respect their neighbours.

I have read that Swiss police don't care about technicalities they just do what their common sense tells them to do.

Again I don't need a book to tell me how to talk to the police.
Based on your post here, I'd have thought you'd have solved the problem by now!

I would suggest:
- Apply major attitude re-adjustment
- Go talk to your neighbours in a civilised manner
- Failing that talk to the landlord
- And then and only then talk to the police, although I doubt they'll be terribly interested.

What is the relevance of their nationality?

Life is too short, I would move because noisy neighbours never change. They'll tone it down for a bit but you'll be on edge until the next time it kicks off.

So they tell you that they are from Bangalore and mother/son and give you enough information for you to conclude that they sleep in the same bed but you can't tell them that the noise disturbs you?
OP sounds like a very well integrated foreigner in Switzerland.
He already hates some nationalities and will take his ramblings to EF.
I supposed he had the brown sugar thing all figured out.

Re: Noisy Indian Neighbours

It isn't the first time the OP has whined about Indians.

I don't think he's racist, though. He's just a shitstirrer.

Because randomly hating foreigners is exclusive to people in Switzerland? I don't get it.

So my post gets deleted for "unacceptable personal attack".

Seriously mods? Calling someone out for what he is, a racist, now constitutes a personal attack? As DB has pointed out, the poster has a history of attacks a particularly ethnicity and IMHO are traits of racism but wtf do I know?

I didn't do the deletion, but I'd guess "prick" was the standout word of your post.

I think racist and prick go completely hand in hand? you can't be racist and not be a prick, certainly not with the sort of attitude that the OP has.
If a prick went in a hand, wouldn't the hand hurt?

Re: Noisy Indian Neighbours

After a brief look at OP's history of Nazi posts https://www.englishforum.ch/swiss-po...ml#post2838127
and other displays of ignorance
https://www.englishforum.ch/introduc...ml#post2833520

I am tempted to ask him to go back where he came from. To expedite the matters instead, I dare him to continue to post some racist content with his name and contact details, and I'll see to it there's action against it.

I'm not sure OP needs to post name and contact details him/herself if he/she gets bad enough, if you know what I mean

I've read that sentence several time now and I'm sorry but I really don't know what it means.

If OP's posts are clearly against the law, authorities can easily find out who he/she really is and take him/her to court.
