cleaning at end of tenancy(landlord sold the house)

Good morning,

We move last year into a property without (us and the regie) knowing the landlord putt the property in the market with an other regie.

He now sold the house and we have to move.

Is anyway we could ask for compensation like landlord will pay for the cleaning conpany?

We could stay until november if we wanted but we already agree to help and move asap for him to not loose his buyer.

What do you think?

Kind Regards.

Re: cleaning at end of tenancy(landlord sold the house)

Why do you move out? Selling, specially to intend to sell the house does not give reason to cancel the a rental contract. The new owner has to take over the current rental contract and then might cancel on his own based on "personal use" or because of major renovation.

But if you have found something better... in this case you could request that the property just has to be swept-clean/Besenrein. But normally you would discuss such things before you accept the cancellation.

We need to move because the new owner is buying to live there. To use the property as is own house.

Technically we had until November to move (regarding our contract) but we agree to move asap : 1 for him to not loose his buyer
2 We didn't want make trouble

Yes. Say to the Landlord - since we've agreed to move earlier than we're contractually obliged to, will you pay for the cleaning company?
