Recommendations for a 'dog friendly' cleaning company?

I am looking for regular cleaning help, and am considering cleaning companies. (I am not looking to hire an individual.)

I am running into a snag, as the companies I have contacted around the Ausserschwyz area will not work in homes with more than one dog, or cannot guarantee the same person (who theoretically will have already gone through the 'getting to know the dogs' routine) will clean each time.

So - can anyone recommend a 'dog friendly' cleaning company that works in the Ausserschwyz/left side Zürichsee area?

Many thanks.

I have a cleaning lady from this company - https://www.putzfrau.ch/

they made sure that the lady likes dogs, we meet all together before the first cleaning. and I was once home, when she came. and she handles my dog's happiness when someone enters the appartement really good.

Do any of you have experience with Kristall Klar Reinigung?

https://kristall-klar.ch

Any reviews or comments would be much appreciated.

No direct experience, but I remember 3-4 years ago getting a quote from them for our apartment in Pfäffikon. IIRC it was CHF 5x (maybe 54) an hour. This may or may not matter given the difficulties you are having finding someone, but we thought it was a joke. That was based on 4 hours every 2 weeks.

Have you put a Kleinanzeige up at your local supermarket(s)? There are always people offering cleaning in the Wollerau Coop. I’m planning to offer a cleaning job the opposite way, to specify that some English would be appreciated.

Thanks Eyebeebee.

I was hoping to avoid being the employer, as my experience with that so far has not been good. I was hoping that I'd find more stability as a client of a company.

I'm good with paying higher commercial rates - if that gets me consistent service that meets my needs without the headaches of being the employer. I realise, though, that's a pretty big 'if'.

This is exactly why we used www.bookatiger.com but we found it very hard to get a regular cleaner, so had to spend time explaining what we wanted to the new cleaner, them asking us to buy specific items (eg a toothbrush for the inside of plug holes!!) and then never coming back or just being plain let down. When we moved last year we just cancelled the service. The renovations at the new place are basically done now, hence we’ll be looking for a different solution, but like you I’m very wary of becoming an employer.

I was the employer for my last cleaner. I did it through quitt, although at the lowest level mostly to take advantage of the insurance. I did all the paperwork, and paid quitt the minimal fee to put me in the required insurance pool.

My cleaner was excellent, but she’s moved on to better opportunities. I would not hesitate to hire someone else that way. Right now, i’m trying to manage it by myself - with two new knees, it’s easier, but I still suck at it.

I hear ya, knee-wise.

I'm still on crutches and wearing an unbendable cyborg brace, so my cleaning these last months has been, to put it mildly, not up to snuff. Add in three dogs...

It's not so much the paperwork that I mind (although I'd be glad to be free of it) but rather it's that I've ended up being let down. Not an uncommon story out this way. A private cleaner charges in the 40+ range anyway so I was hoping the stability of using a company would come out about even despite the higher rate.

There seem to be several 'Vermittlungsburo' type companies that combine the worst of each - high rates while you still end up being the employer and carry the liability. Don't want to go that route.

So if any of you have other suggestions for cleaning companies out the Ausserschwyz/left side Zürichsee way, please let me know.

I was just looking at an ad for helpling.ch

Looks like if you do a regular contract, you get the same person each week (or every other week), starting at about chf33/hour, which is, imho pretty reasonable. Their ratings are decent. Just not sure if they are in your area.

When you fill out the request, they ask if you have pets, I didn‘t go further (i‘m Stubbornly trying to clean myself).

ETA - I did go a bit further - looks like pets add about chf5/hour.
Hope your knees are feeling better!
