Taking over utilities (electric, internet) from landlord

I am in an apartment where we were previously on all-inclusive (incl furniture and all utilities) individual contracts, and now we have had to take over the whole flat on a new contract and start managing some stuff ourselves.

According to the landlord we are only responsible for electric and internet; the rest is building-wide.

My understanding from searching the forum is that some properties may have only one choice of electric provider, while others may have some choices. How to find this out? Would we also have the option of just going with the same provider as the landlord?

Any tips on finding available internet providers? I just tried the address-based availability search here (https://www.swisscom.ch/en/residenti...net/fibre.html) and it is broken, at least for my address.

* why not keeping the same contract/provider for the electricity.
Just change the name on the contract.

*internet connection are depending on you address. Not all the company and not all the connection type are available everywhere.
Also do you need TV, Land line, mobile?

I would be fine with same electric contract, but in theory maybe we could find a better rate, or maybe one that is advertised to be more "green" or some such thing.

Not interested in TV or land line. And mobile we would not want to share between flatmates. In theory we might want the best internet available; that's why I was looking at that swisscom fiber link.
