He didn't go into specifics.

If you go ahead with this let me know. Maybe I'll drop by and do an apprenticeship before doing my own :D

God. I hate those old fuse types. They always end up blowing when you have no spares and end up having to drive somewhere to buy a new one.

That was obviously a problem in our place. When we bought it, I found a box with about 200 assorted fuses in it.

Don't be deceived. When it blows you'll see that none of the 200 will be of the rating you need :D

- Make moistures so no fibers "float" away in the air.
- Use hand gloves and unscrew plate.
- Put together with hand gloves in plastic bag (or wrap in plastic)
- Close bag.
- Bring to local disposal site.
- Book a holiday due to saving 1.5K CHF

Exactly what I did...Except I also used good pp-3 graded mouthmask.
Disposal site charged 200 CHF just for accepting the asbestos coming from my wiring panel.....

that's where you went wrong. just put it in the normal trash and spend the 200chf you saved on a round of drinks ;)

but should they even charge you for that? i thought it should be free or accepted under the bauschott allowance you typically get.
