Cleaning epoxy flooring

We have light coloured ( beige ) epoxy flooring in our balcony and garage. Proving to be impossible to clean thoroughly with regular detergents. Read somewhere that household ammonia works well but I think that it's not sold here.
Any advice would be highly appreciated.

Re: Cleaning epoxy flooring

If you rent, then ask your landlord, agent or caretaker, or your neighbours, for the name(s) of the products to use.
If you own, and it is not a free-standing house but an appartment or a complex, ask some of the other owners, or someone in the body corporate.

Free standing house - no one to ask.

Re: Cleaning epoxy flooring

I would try dishwashing liquid, wet the whole area first to soften up. For the balcony doing this in the rain helps. Apply then use a stiff broom to scrub and rince liberally. Forget mop and bucket.
