Looking to install a new boiler / chaudiere - any recommendation?

Only got one quote so far from Boisson-Rappo for a new Horval model.
Any one has any experience with these model and company?

Sorry for changing the idea, but why not a geothermal heat pump? No gas is consumed, only electricity coming from hydro or nuclear energy. If you don't care about CO2 emissions, a lot of cash is saved on fuel anyway.

The house has a big Mazout tank and a boiler at the moment. So I guess the system stays the same.

they are too expensive to install, the rebate is not significant enough to pay back within a reasonable time line, you have to have great insulation or it wont work (and you wont qualify for the rebate from your commune) and its suited only really for underfloor heating systems, radiators dont generate enough heat.

Apart from that, they are great.

Well, we had a new Elco boiler installed a few years ago. Expensive, but it does it's thing without us needing to do anything at all. It decides when it needs to switch on/off and for how long.

The model I was quoted is a HOVAL Multijet LSP 20 - “chaudiere condensation, avec brleur mazout et regulation pour 2 circuit de chauffage.
