Could the landlord have a key from my flat and go in while I am away?

Hi folks,

is this allowed in Switzerland?

Also he is allowed a key of his lock, if you however decide to put in your own lock while you live there that is fully up to you.

Ackchyually..... The landlord/landlady might only have a spare key or master key with the tenant's explicit consent. Tenant can not be forced to give consent.

I was going to share the same information It is interesting how most don't know that they do have the rights to all keys, I found out via ASLOCA
