There are definitely people who do this on the forum. If anyone posts anything to counter a post I have made, they always thank that person, whatever they have written.

Pretty childish but they know who they are and if that's how they get their kicks then good luck to them.

Yep, noticed this one too.

They'd probably prefer to groan every post you make though, but they choose a more passive-aggressive way.
So funny... That's *exactly* what I've been noticing lately.

Re: Creepy neighbour upstairs... how to de-escalate with Crazy Karen?

Is it something you can contact the Cantonal psychiatrist office about? I once called because a friend kept telling me he was suicidal. They advised me of my legal obligations and how to deal with it. If it's something like this, I know that quite a few cantons send a doctor over (not police) to talk to the person in question along with offers of help. They won't "lock them up" so to speak unless they threaten violence or suicide.

Change it to your advantage: Ask her to film your tomatoes and send you the video daily via whatsapp while you're on holidays.

Re: Creepy neighbour upstairs... how to de-escalate with Crazy Karen?

WTF, I log back and see this thread had much more replies than it deserved XD

Anyway, as suggested I reported Crazy Karen to Livit but asked them to not take any initiative for now since it was nothing serious. They agreed and told me to ping them back if the situation gets worse.

I've read horror stories about Livit, and for sure I cannot give a final judgement until the day comes when I want to move out, but so far they have been pretty nice with me - maybe because I'm a Mieterverband member I wonder?

Ahahah not so extreme! Just to be clear: yes, I exaggerated a bit the description of the lady for fun, in reality I'm not sure whether she's mentally ill or just super annoying, and I'm definitely not in the position to call for psychiatric help for her. I didn't interact with her so much, she might even be a nice (although noisy and enraged and weird) person.

All I know is that she didn't behave well with me, for no reason at all. I've been more than patient and empathetic with her given the circumstances. I just don't want to have any problems with her or with these crazy forum discussions that are so typical of the modern anger society we all live in, and that we should all try to avoid - my apologies if you think my post deserved to trigger such discussion.

Let's forget about it and return to insult each other in a nice and constructive way, MOTHAFUXXAS!
