Clean vomit off wall.

Following a spell in intensive care recently, bad reaction to new meds, I have some dried vomit on a white painted wall.

Whatís the best product for cleaning it off, and where to buy in ZŁrich?

Thanks in advance...

Re: Clean vomit off wall.

Normal soap and a sponge and a bit of patience are normally enough, but it depends on what you have eaten/drank before. If it is a tomato sauce and red wine and cheap paint chances are that you would need to buy some paint.

Re: Clean vomit off wall.

If it's still there and dry, try to brush it off.
Then use what we generally call the Scotch-sponge (the type is also available at Migros), don't use too much water and dab rather than scrub.

Word of advice when it comes to painting, a patch will always look like a painted patch. Try the whole wall if possible.
Cleaning might leave it a touch dull but it sticks out less than the shiny new paint.

I think I've heard that whitening toothpaste cleans up pretty much everything, just don't pick up the Signal dark blue one.

Re: Clean vomit off wall.

Vinegar and water followed by sponge painting. The sponge makes the paint go into the dips only and doesn't leave behind the color patch. It blends everything over into a passable view.
