Finding Baubewilligt properties via the Bauamt in Zurich

Folks - a rather specialized property search question: has anyone had luck looking for new builds via the Zurich Bauamt website? I find that oftentimes by the time a property is listed for sale (with years to go before delivery!), the best/biggest units are already reserved. I'm thinking of reaching out to the developers / architects with properties that already have the Baubewilligung. But this is where I get unstuck. Where do I find this information? Has anyone been able to successfully navigate the Bauamt website to find the permitted building projects and the corresponding contact details?

Re: Finding Baubewilligt properties via the Bauamt in Zurich

When I was doing it in 2005 I was googling all over the place, picking locations, looking at architect websites in those areas, calling people up from websites. Touring round and seeing boards.

Sometimes dead ends, but happy with what I ended up in the end.

Try "Amtsblatt des Kantons Zürich" where you'll find submitted planning permissions. It'll give you the architects names as well as information on where you can see the project details and the plans.
It'll list all submitted planning permissions, incl such things as changing windows or renovation garden walls. It'll take a bit of time to go through it all, but this is probably the earliest opportunity for the public to take note of planning permissions before they're even granted.
