Damage from electrician

Hi all, I got a question regarding liability.

We recently had an electrician at our rental to install a ceiling hanging lamp. During drilling part of the ceiling plaster cracked and fell off. In total probably 5x3cm and another part is loose but still hanging.

Who is liable to fix this - the electrician company as they drilled, or us (our liability insurance)? They, the electrician company, said that those things happen (which I am aware of) depending the plaster etc. and they hope that we were able to fix it and enjoy our lamp.

I couldn't find any useful info online.

Thanks in advance...cheers,
