That ol' architect problem....

Hi there!

We seriously need to quickly renovate our rather huge bathroom.
BUT where on earth can we find a good creative architect in the Luzern/Zug/Zurich/Muri(AG) area or surrounds??

Any suggestions for a reliable person/company would be really appreciated.

Thanks....

Maybe this place could help you...

https://www.bauarena.ch/bad

or this:

Even a place like OBI which has a bathroom fixtures section might be able to give you some suggestions. I was once told by a guy working at OBI that they have a list there of people or companies who do certain types of work.

Re: That ol' architect problem....

An Architect is not normally needed for a bathroom renovation and generally any of the all-in places (Fust ect) are a bit more expensive balanced against the convenience of not having to organize anything your self. Material choices and place of purchase are the main variable in cost as labor required is fairly similar, finding companies to install these things as a lot will only install what they supply. PM me if you are looking for a project manager.

Re: That ol' architect problem....

We did a huge guest bathroom and this included knocking walls down and rebuilding, ceilings down and insulation, etc. No architect involved at all- just got our local plumber, builder, carpenter and electrician together- and they planned what we wanted, we chose the white goods and tiles, glass, etc- and they did it.

Re: That ol' architect problem....

I would recommend this company in Ottenbach. Probably not going to be the cheapest but they will do the work to a very high standard and are experienced in doing this exact type of thing. They have been running for decades, over a decade under the current management and are able to offer the full range of services required to do a bathroom refurbishment.

Re: That ol' architect problem....

Thanks everyone! I guess the problem is we want not only a full refurbishment but also some creativity (more than we have &#128517 beyond Swiss standard of „putting things around the edges“. Yeah, it’s a problem. Will contact company in Ottenbach and/or be brave & design it ourselves....

You need to create a mood board on Pinterest. Alternatively get a subscription to Readly - and scan all the home / interiors magazines for ideas and inspiration. Then you'll have more focus and won't waste cash before you speak to a specialist fitter.
