We are new in Switzerland, only 3 weeks and We bought a hybrid car. GESA the electric company gave us a quote for CHF3500.
Please can you advise who install your charger for CHF2000.
Thank you

| | Re: Apartment parking charge station for hybrid / electric cars .. who pays? | Quote: | | | | | We paid 1900 CHF (other quotes where 2500 and more) for a CEE16 RED plug install in the garage for our car, then we have a Juice Booster 2 plugged in there, which we can take along if we want to charge elsewhere. Juice Booster has a whole bunch of plugs that ensure you can plug in around the world more or less, not that most charging away from home happens with CCS at GoFast & Ionity, but hey
For short distances we typically lose 20% of charge, which is easily charged overnight. But with CEE16 and single phase, a full charge might take 26 hours.
LIDL is always a nice option if you shop there anyway as they tend to have 50kW ABB chargers there, otherwise use www.abetterrouteplanner.com or www.chargemap.com and find a local one. Get a RFID card from www.Swisscharge.ch for quickness of charging (faster than all the silly apps) | | | | | Hi Jeroen,
Please can you advise what company installed your charges for CHF1900, we got a quote for CHF3500 in Fribourg canton.
Thank you
Ken

Ken | | | | | I had a Tesla Wall Connector* (CHF520) installed by one of the firms recommended by Tesla in Canton Zurich. They quoted CHF2200 but found the job easier than expected and charged CHF1900.
I found electric supply companies more expensive. You do not state your vehicle, but the manufacturer may well have some recommendations...
* The Tesla Wall Connector type 2 connection works fine with a VW iD.3 - and presumably all other EVs with type 2/CCS connectors.

Thank you, the car dealer didn't recommend any company. My car is a Volvo XC60 hybrid.
Yes, the connector is type 2.

Yes, the connector is type 2. | | | | | Hybrid eh? Never mind! What is the battery size? You can probably get away with an ordinary domestic socket (assuming Volvo supply the cable) which should be able to add about 11kms an hour...

At least in the area of EKZ, they offer a solution in which they finance the installation (which may reduce the hurdle for landlords to install something): https://www.ekz.ch/de/privatkunden/e...ilienhaus.html |
