You may own the property alone but in a divorce if you have kids your wife can still kick you out and prevent you from selling it

As it will be classified as the "family property" of course there are expensive ways around it

Hi there!
off-topic question: with the current trend for digitization, does the buyer receives a so-called paperless proof/contract of "Kaufvertrag"(like in PDF format) or is still the old-style of paper signed by all parties and with the stamp +signature of the notary?
How it is in Switzerland?

The latter I think. The notary has to make sure everyone understands what they're signing so you all have a meet up, go over the contract and if everyone is happy sign it. Also means you can ask the seller for changes to the contract and get it altered on the spot if you both agree to the changes.

Most people who own houses in Switzerland do not have minor children, so not an issue.
