I have a friend who used a German company to renovate their kitchen and was wondering if anyone had done a similar things with bathrooms? Do you know of any German companies that cross the boarder and do work here?

Waste of time considering this for the whole job, if you can find a local plumber to work with who will let you supply materials is the cheapest way. Not many do this and you need to know what you are doing/ordering, sometimes actually paying for service saves you in the long run.

They were excellent. You can choose Switzerland as the delivery address at the top.

Here's what I did in detail:

1. Found a builder and a plumber who often work together on projects. Made sure that they were happy to work with appliances and materials supplied by me.
2. Put together a shopping list from Reuter
3. Sent Reuter an email to confirm everything was in stock. They also double-check to make sure you've added all the necessary plumbing bits to the order. They confirmed everything, including processing, tax, import duties, delivery etc.
4. Got the builder and plumber to check my shopping list to see if they were happy with it all and to check size of pipes etc.

It all went very smoothly. Everybody was happy and I saved two thirds of the cost.

Finding a builder/plumber combo who's willing to do it this way may not be easy.
Also, you need to check and double-check everything. Don't assume that 'it'll fit'. It takes time and effort, but I found it worth my while.
