Re: Asking money for furniture

The last time I needed to find a Nachmieter, I chose to turn in the name of the person willing to take my furniture for free. Fortunately the situation suited both of us. I'm kind of ashamed of it now...

I think if you give the furniture for free that's less awful than trying to force others to pay inflated prices. Some people do need new furniture and it can help both people. But what I've seen here and even on that flatfox ad, the prices are not reasonable.

I'd be reluctant to take a flat full of big pieces such as wardrobes, in case there's floor or wall damage that can't be seen.

Re: Asking money for furniture

Once I saw an advertisement for a flat I really liked but in the advertisement the person wanted the new tenant to buy over (their ugly) curtains and some other useless stuff for more than 10k (can't remember the exact figure).

I did not even go to see the apartment just did not want to bother with the hassle...

So, being blatantly open like this is (also) illegal, right?

https://flatfox.ch/en/flat/anwandstr...zurich/429838/

How would the agency allow posting that?
It is illegal. I don't think any agency allowed that, it must be something autonomously posted by a private for free.
