Mobile Tower in my backyard.

I may have mentioned this before but I cannot seem to find the thread so here we go again. Salt has been planning to build a tower about 20 meters from where I am sitting now. Not just 20 meters from my house, but 30 meters to the next neighbour, 40 meters to the next and so on and so forth. A monster, 30 meters that is pretty unwelcome. This has been going on for a number of years and the Gemeinde was forced to find another place to put it. Now they are having a vote for the new place, which is on top on the Werkstatt from the Gemeinde. Better for us but worse for the people that live around there. Now the thing is, if the vote gets through and they decide to put it on the werkstatt, then it will only take one complaint (which is sure to happen) and the tower comes back here. Evidently some complaints are worth more than others.
So what are my concerns. For one, no-one really knows the long term effects of living close to these things. Thats one beef. My big concern is that we were thinking of selling up and moving and I am sure that having a tower so close will not be good for the sale price, some estimates between 15 and 20 %, if you can find a buyer that wants to live with a tower in their backyard.
My question is, in a country where you have to ask your neighbours if you can add a window, build a shed and so forth, how is it even possible that an entity or company can come in and literally trash the value of your house ? Do we have any legal standing at all ?

Re: Mobile Tower in my backyard.

You can just complain when the planning pole goes up, same as the people at the werkstatt end may do if that gets approved.

But if the new location is on a council owned industrial building, it seems a lot less likely any complaint would be valid there than it is between your residential buildings.

Re: Mobile Tower in my backyard.

We did, the poles went up, then they came down again. We werw lucky as we had some legal help though our Rechtschutz, but we have sort of reached the end of what they think they can do for us. The thing is, we are in a small village, a walddorf as it were. No-one wants or needs the damn thing. The only people that would are the people driving through and they can survive the two minutes it takes to get to Lenzburg.
I know there were some groups in Bern and Geneva that were stopping these towers from going ahead. Does anyone out there know anything about these groups ?

Re: Mobile Tower in my backyard.

Ok, new update. The vote is in which seems to have rejected the idea that the tower goes on top of the werkstatt. So back it comes for now, man this is frustrating 😡😡
