I am in a temporary furnished apartment and there has been a mold smell since day one near the shower. I’m moving out soon so I don’t care but I feel I should keep them accountable because it could be a health hazard to someone, especially as it gets colder outside and harder to have the windows open all the time. I’ve simply had them open all the time and often a fan going as well. I’m convinced that if I had the windows closed I would start to suffer health affects in a matter of weeks.

I asked them to address the issue and they kind of cleaned but it seems like the problem is still there.

Should I send them some letter by Einschreiben? Is there some authority I can notify to potentially trigger an inspection etc? I wouldn’t mind going to a little extra effort to try to help the next guy.
