Swiss Areas near Schaan, Liechtenstein?

I am contemplating a position that would have me working in Schaan. I understand I would need to live in Switzerland or Austria as I would not be eligible to live in Leichtenstein. I am married with 3 boys ages 12, 11 and 8.

I am looking for any insight on housing expenses and private schools in this area.

Any insight that would help me determine the true cost of living in the area would be most appreciated.

Re: Contemplating move to Switzerland (Leichtenstein job...)

I'll move this to the appropriate forum for your first question (Housing in General).

You're welcome to start a separate thread in Family Matters/Health for the school question.

Also, I'm not familiar with Liechtenstein rules but it seems a bit odd that they force you to commute from abroad.

Re: Contemplating move to Switzerland (Leichtenstein job...)

I used to work for the Zurich office of a Liechtenstein company and I always heard it was very difficult for foreigners to obtain residency there. Most of the foreigners working there commute from Switzerland or Austria.
