Working In Switzerland, Living In France

My husband and I both work in Switzerland in the Nyon-Geneva area and we are looking to buy a house or apartment. It seems that we could get a more for our money buy buying a property over the border in France.
However, we do not know how this will affect our taxes, pensions, chomage (unemploymemt benifits should either of us lose our job), etc.
Does anyone have any info or advice that may help us reach a decision?

I was reading this the other day from WRGFM

It might help your decisions, but I must admit I wouldn`t mind moving from Nyon to Mont Sur Rolle.
