Re: I need help!

homegate.ch Immobilien-Angebot: Wohnung, Haus, Einfamilienhaus, Eigentumswohnung mieten, kaufen.
you pay for the month in advance and can pay up to three months' deposit.

If you're asking about tax, you mean income tax?

Re: I need help!

Hey,

Most people posts links which is good but does not easily give some info which we foreigners look. Let me give you some points.

Hope this is useful.

1. Apartments are generally rented by agescies and rarely by owners.
So forget about getting it verbally

2. You need to sign a contract with the agency to get an apartment.
It would be easier to get if you are willing to sign longer contracts
of 24 months and above.

3. If your budget is above 2500CHF, competition would be less.

4. If you are married you have to take a minimum of 2 room apartment.

5. Some neighbours prefer quiet environment, so if you have kids
your options are limited.

6. Unfurnished apartments are better as you can get the things you want
for reasonable cost rather than paying huge amounts all through the year.

7. There are more number of unfurnished apartments available than
the furnished.

8. Apartments near lake area are expensive.

9. WHen you click on a particular add in Homegate.ch, it will
give you the contact of Agencies who will assist you to get that
particular apartment.

10. You will not be contacting the owner in any case.

11. Do not worry about travel, all of zurich is well connected.
and costs only 77 CHF for a monthly pass for tram-bus-train-boat
