Maximum number of owners of house?

Can anyone tell me what is the maximum number of owners for a property in Switzerland? Or, does any one know a more relevant forum on which to ask this question?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Maximum number of owners of house?

My best advice is ask a lawyer.

Assuming that the "people" were elegible to buy the property I would not think there is a limit.

I wonder if this is one of those 20 people buy a house cash, live like sardines and work until they buy all 20 houses in the steet

I've no idea whether there is a limit or not, but it must be quite high if there is. According to Mr L. there were between 10-15 part-owners of a flat here. And a jolly old nightmare it was too, when the situation changed and it made sense to sell the appartment. Several of the part-owners had died and their share had been divided up among the heirs, so the lawyers spent some time searching for them all as the sale had to be decided upon unanimously.
