Frustrated in Chur

Hi guys!
Just a bit of background first...
- I met my Swiss guy, got married, and am currently 9 months pregnant.
- He has a tiny room (about 10qm) here in Chur.
- We've been searching actively for a new apartment for at least the last 4 months. Online, posting/looking in Coop and Migros, checking newspapers, etc.
- We've also gone to see many places in Chur and the surrounding cities (Ziziers, Trimmis, Haldenstein, Felsberg, etc.)
- Looking for at least 2.5 rooms, min. 50qm and less than 1,300sfr.

I've heard the Swiss are usually family friendly but so far we've only encountered the opposite. The landlords seem to be searching for 1 person, who's never home and able to pay a fortune for rent. We've run into quite a bit of hestation from people because I am pregnant (I guess they don't want a crying baby living there). Before I moved, my husband was doing the searching and didn't always mention we are expecting.
I'm just wondering if there's anything I've overlooked here or if any of you have any advice for us. Baby's due date is coming up quickly (6.April) and I really don't know what to do anymore.

right now, just enjoy the silence..

you cannot move before the due date anyway, so don't stress about it.

Organise a changing area for the baby, get some really small nappies, look forward to being able to walk normally again, and dont stress about the housing.

When things have gotten back to their "new" normal, when you know the baby is fine and you have become used to your new environment, THEN you can start thinking about a new flat.
