We are having serious issues with our gerance (Fuhrer) at the moment.w are due to move out at the end of the month and found another place....signed the contracts and all.

Now we found 3 other people to take over the current appartment but the Gerance is giving them crap by telling them they do not have the right docs etc and each and everytime they submit the requested docs they ask for something different....

Now the only mistake on our behalf is that we submitted our leave letter 2 months ahead instead of the ridicoulous 4 months that you are required.

Anyone dealt with these guys before or something similar and know of some trick to make em back off?

You have to prfesent 1 person who is finacialy capable and legaly able to take over the apaprtment at a date agreed with you. If the gerance refuses this person, then it falls on their responsibilty to find somebody and you are off the hook.

They told us we need 3 so we went along and found 3....we could find more as we have a desirable location studio (montreux) and we are STILL doing visits.

So what you are saying is that it is their issue now as the 3 we recommended have a more than sufficient salary....one was an architect....

The gerance is being plain rude to all candidates so they decide rather to not deal with them.....

I guess we will be going with that lawyer agency then....

Financialy solvable is 50% of the equasion, they also need not to have poursuites etc on their back, which may be the case if an archtect is renting a studio apartement.

As for getting a lawyer, go ahead, but once the artillery is used up there's not much else left. Try to discuss and put your point across, the gerance knows the law far beter than any of us, they may try it on, but that's not unique to Switzerland, but if you have a basic knowledge of the laws they will soon back off.

yes but app they are quite known for pulling crap like this....Fuhrer that is.... so we refuse to back of and have brought up the issue of lawyers.....they backed off for a second but seem to be calling the bluff. So i guess now it is the time to show that is wasnt just talk.

They all have complete files with poursuites and such but now they want a reference from the previous landlord...and it keeps going on and on. We just do not want any issues as we are moving in 2 weeks.
