Man with a van 75 chf per person, per hour - reasonable?

Hello all,

I am moving my apartment end of September in the same town - to an apartment 200 meters away. Move will take some muscle as we are currently in a second floor with no lift.

Anyway, I just had a very nice English speaking young lad that the leasing agency recommended come in and look through my apartment. He tells me my things will take about 6 hours to move, and charges 75 francs per person, per hour, with the cost of the vehicle included. 3 persons would be here first couple of hours (for the larger stuff), 2 the rest of the time.

Is this a good rate?

I have not shopped around and if this is a good price, he gave me a good feeling plus well recommended, so I rather save myself the trouble and start packing .

Thanks all,

Juan Miguel Venturello

Yep 75 inc' van is a good rate, most even the ones on here are 85 for van & man & 125 for van & man +1

Thanks Papa goose - but let me ask, it is 75 per person - so van + 2 men is 150 chf. That is ok, or a bit too steep?

I would normally expect the 1st guy & van to be 85 as it's normally his van, then the other guy 50-60, as he's just a humper and dumper. I wouldn't pay more than 125chf, as I know you can get it for that
