I am a UK resident. I purchased a holiday home in Valais 3 years ago. I was told I would get the deeds in about a year. I still do not have the deeds but expect them soon.
Does anyone know if a an apartment purchased by a uk resident can be resold to anyone or must it be resold only to Swiss resident.

I have waited 3 years for deeds. Would my purchaser have to wait, or because the property is now with foreigner (me) would the purchaser get immidiate title

Who is holding your papers at the moment then? Seems a bit strange you don't have them after 3 years .

Apparently the developer holds the papers until the purchaser has been approved by the Canton. The purchaser then waits in in turn until the allocation comes up.
