Looking for floor-standing anglepoise lamp

Hello!

Just wondered if anyone knew where I could buy a floor-standing anglepoise lamp in/near Zurich?

Something a bit like this : http://www.anglepoise.com/Products/G...27__30383.aspx

I saw a nice in Kare Design, for about 140 CHF, but when I went to the shop in Duebendorf they said I could only buy it in Munich...

Also found one from the 70's in Bogen 33 but was v expensive...

Any ideas?

Thank you!

Re: Looking for floor-standing anglepoise lamp

If you just want an anglepoise-style floor lamp, Ikea does knock-offs at CHF29 for a floor-standing lamp, or CHF10 for a desk lamp:

http://www.ikea.com/ch/fr/catalog/products/20225999/

If you want one like the Giant 1227 in the original link, however, you'll have to dig a little bit deeper into your pockets. It's listed at GBP2349 on the website.

Or, available here in Switzerland at an appropriately Swiss price of CHF4500.

That lamp looks like it's about to attack the poor little chair and devour it !

Re: Looking for floor-standing anglepoise lamp

@Village Idiot: I am trying to avoid Ikea products but anyway, thank you for proposing me this as an alternative...

@Stephen, Village Idiot: You made me change my mind about the size of the lamp ...I would prefer a smaller and cheaper one anglepoise like a lamp for desk...

Re: Looking for floor-standing anglepoise lamp

I would think this is more what you are after but limited choice for this 1/2 price product

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Anglepoise-G...ant+anglepoise

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Giant-Blac...item1c3643400f

or try this link for a used one if you ae planning to visit London.

There are cheaper ones on ebay but they are not the genuine article.

Try Teo Jakob (https://www.teojakob.ch/‎) They sell a lot of late 20th century design classics (Eames, Knoll et al) and I would be surprised if they didn't do the Anglepoise lamps. They have a few stores and I believe one in Zurich as well. They also sell online.
