If I leave it blank are they likely to regard that as suspicious?

If I put "none" ("Keiner"?) are they likely to judge me badly?
If you leave it blank, it might! Some people are very touchy about their religion, just as about their political party and their association they are in. But you might not want those people as your land lords. So do it as you feel comfortable. It is better that to enter a "wrong" religion :-)

Natel is your cell phone number

I can completely relate to the lack of translation options. The first recipe I ever tried here required Ruebli - my German in-laws were at a loss. Carrots! It's funny now, but not so much at the time.

We never put our religion on any rental forms either. We did register it at the Gemeinde and have regretted it since then because we now have to pay church taxes! We aren't very religious so it's kind of ironic

Another question on this subject. What is "Geschäft?" Google translate says it means "business" but there's already a line for my profession and one for my employer.

You don't say where the word is exactly. Is it, by any chance, near the private telephone number? If so, it will be your 'work' phone number.

Thanks so much - yes it's right by the personal telephone number. =)
