I just move to Lausanne in early January. After a while, i decided to join the EGK care (GP models) since it is the cheapest one. And i have 2 questions regarding that.

1. He asked me when should it begin. I told him that i came to Switzerland in early Jan. and then he asked if i have a letter from the commune. then i saw him the letter from the commune asking me for a copy of my health insurance. After he read that email, he decided that i could to start the insurance from Feb. Is that really ok??? I read the letter again and again (using google translate, i don't speak french) and i couldn't find information saying that i could start from Feb . Will this lead me to a problem?

2. I have to tell them the doctor of my choice from their list. From the list i found one who can speak English. So i called her and tell her that i am a new customer of EGK health insurance and i want to be her patient. She told me to come next week to her. Is she going to do a preliminary health check on me? I have a little bit concern wether i'm going to be honest or not. I have a little issue with my health. All women in my family have a auto-immune disease, i'm the only one without it. My previous doctor told me that i also have a tendency and i do some blood check every year. Last year i already show some symptoms but it still negative and he want me to do some test every 6 months. Should i tell this to my new doctor? or can i just stay quiet and then in June i come to her and ask her to do some blood check? I am still healthy. If i tell her the situation will it increase my health insurance premium?? i already sign the contract with EGK and it said that my monthly is 205 CHF.
