Swisscare Insurance During my Exchange Year in the U.S.

I am a student in switzerland, and I am going to the U.S. this fall for one year.
I had a swiss care insurance and I want to buy a insurance "unlimited plan" for students and researchers abroad

I found it quite cheap 450 EUR / year, which is not only cheaper than the one in the US (3000 USD) and my current insurance in swisscare (990 CHF)

Does anybody have exchange experience outside switzerland with this plan? Many thanks!
