using Assura's Mondia

My baby and I will travel to the U.S. next week and we both have Assura's Mondia plan. Has anyone actually had to use make use of this insurance while abroad? Is it as straightforward as it looks? (Paying up front, getting reimbursed by Assura right away.) Or do the bills go toward our deductible? I want to make sure there are no hidden costs or issues I should be aware of.

Thank you!

Re: using Assura's Mondia

I don't know what sort of coverage it gives you, but paying up front could cost you thousands in the US. As a minimum you should have one million dollars cover on your insurance policy, preferably more. I'd take out travel insurance to be on the safe side.
