Supplementary insurance while being pregnant ("existing condition")

Hello
I am aware that most supplementary insurances will not cover any "existing conditions" - specifically for pregnancy though, is there a company which shall cover pregnancy as an "existing condition" with immediate effect?
Thanks for the inputs.

Re: Supplementary insurance while being pregnant ("existing condition")

The 3 or 4 supplementary offers I have seen specifically only cover pregnancy starting 365 days after the beginning of the contract. That was the only exception of this kind I saw on supplementary insurance.

The compulsory basic Swiss health insurance covers everything. What do you need as extras?

Go for the full Monty for the kid. After the birth you can roll back all the stuff you don't need.

Nobody is going to sell you supplementary insurance knowing you'll cash out on the benefits in a few months. It's a losing proposition for the business.
