I am moving out of Switzerland but I received the invoice for paying this year's liability insurance. I called them and they are still analyzing if they are cancelling. Is this correct? I complete 1 year of the insurance only in April!

You probably signed up to a 5 year contract.

Show them your deregistration documents and they will cancel it for you

This. Also read your contract carefully. Do you need to cancel via a registered letter or is a phone call sufficient? Many contracts require cancellation in writing, but not all.
