Got a call for an "insurance policy" check

I got a call from the following number: 044 551 78 44. The guy was calling from a "Gesundheitszentrum" who are supposed to check how much have I used my health insurance policy and whether I am "overpaying".

They had supposedly sent me an e-mail and a letter in January to my old address (I moved last year), but I received neither. Looking on my health insurer's e-platform, I found no such e-mail being sent.

Now, being overwhelmed at work, I didn't think of this thoroughly and, unfortunately, gave him my address and scheduled a meeting. However, I'm convinced that I made a mistake and this guy is probably a scammer.

Is this a scam and what action should I take, apart from canceling the appointment and requesting for my data to be deleted per the GDPR?

"local.ch" list that number as a Call Center.

Thank you, that's indeed the case. I ordered the guy to delete all my personal data and he started swearing at me. 0/10, would avoid. Case closed, it was a scam.

Waste their time. Agree to a meeting and then don't turn up. That way you're saving at least one further victim as well as yourself.
