Snowboarding abroad accident insurance

Hey there

As a background, I have the accident insurance through work and I pay my basic insurance on a monthly basis. Even Rega for the entire family. I feel well covered in Europe. I also have travel insurance through gold credit card.

I am heading to Japan next year. I expect lots off-piste and touring with guides.

I wonder if it is necessary to buy an additional insurance.
Any experts on this topic out there?

Thanks!

Re: Snowboarding abroad accident insurance

Check if any of your insurances cover off piste ski-ing/sports injuries. If not, then get some.

Japan is a very civilised country. Check some websites of their ski resorts and look for insurance add-ons for their ticket prices. I suspect you will find some coverage is available at a reasonable price.
