Deadline for reimbursement?

Dear all,
good afternoon!

Do you know how long is it - according to Swiss law - the delay for an insurance to rembourse a client?
Due to a work related accident, I am waiting to be reimbursed for some expenses: Baloise was fairly quick to pay me back me the first invoices, but now seems they went quiet and kind of ignoring my emails.

Cheers!

Re: Deadline for reimbursement?

Don't know if your situation is the same as mine was but we had a fine old dance with Baloise. Eventually we had to get legal assistance to get things moving. Thing with legal people is that they really go to town with getting reimbursements for stuff you wouldn't even consider so it ends up costing the insurance company more than if they'd just coughed up in the first place for the original claim.

Baloise are (in my experience anyway) utter shite.

Do you have legal coverage?

Re: Deadline for reimbursement?

Well, is not too long I am waiting for the reimbursement and anyway, they HAVE to pay me back: these expenses are connected to an accident/dossier handled by them.

Obviously, if they will keep ignoring my emails and I will see no sight of payment, I will indeed go legal.

Just wanted to know if, by law, there is a specific delay to reimburse a client, before giving them a deadline for payment before sending them a letter of demand.

To reply to your question, I am part of the Groupement transfrontalier, not sure if I have legal coverage, but considering I am right with no much doubt, they would have also pay for any legal cost.

Re: Deadline for reimbursement?

OK.

Perhaps I should have checked my bank account first before starting this rant as it appears I just got paid.
