Optima group?

Anyone know anything about the "Optima Group" who claim they are not offering health insurance but want to help you review whether you have the best deal for your health insurance? I usually ignore such calls but answered this one today because I thought it was a call from my actual health insurance. Just curious because I couldn't figure out what it was really about as they don't actually seem to be selling anything. I did not give them any personal information but they already knew that I am currently with Swica (not the cheapest but I've been happy with the service).
Thanks.

Re: Optima group?

No experience with them but from what I heard those companies will try to sell you additional insurances or an insurance on top of your basic health insurance.

Afaik they do not make money selling the basic health insurance, thatīs why they sell the rest.

Re: Optima group?

I hate health insurance brokers. They usually call themselves "advisors", do a lot of cold-calling and will tell you they will analyse and advise you on insurance. In reality they are out to flog you the insurance which gives them the best commission.
Hang up and keep away.

Re: Optima group?

No broker can save you money on basic health insurance.. All they can do is read from a list and tell you one is cheaper than the other. Which you can do anyway.

They just want to pull you in an upsell supplementary insurance products.
