Explanation of cancelation articles in supplementary insurance

I am looking at the supplemental insurance conditions and would appreciate some help with interpretation.

Quote:

If I am reading the last sentence of article 10 correctly, it states that in case of premium increase, the insurance (the part subject to the increase) can be canceled until the day before the premium change. This is different to what I was hearing so far. The meaning of Fälligkeitsdatum is confusing me a bit, because in the first sentence (still article 10) they mention making an amendment for the next due date. Could someone with better understanding please clarify?

I would have a related question. How/where do you find the premium changes in time to react?

Thank you,
Sasha

Sorry, but have no idea at all what you are talking about? Are you talking about the possibility to change your health insurance coverage by end November?

Re: Explanation of cancelation articles in supplementary insurance

Quite simple
if you want to cancel - you need to send 6-months advanced notice.
if insurance changed conditions/costs - they'd inform you minimum 25-days prior it be valid contract between parties and you have time to object and effectively cancel until last day prior the data of when new period starts.

To be honest - first 6-months is really .. well - it's not-obligatory insurance part you looking at so conditions are between the two and if you agree on it - it is what it is

I am sorry if I failed to provide enough context. I am talking about the supplemental insurance (not the mandatory) and understanding the cancellation terms (quoted in the opening post), which differ between insurance companies. Here are the full conditions, but the articles 9 and 10 should be the relevant ones: https://flex.assura.ch/wp-content/up...0/09/CGA_D.pdf
