US health insurer wants a certificate of coverage from CH as proof

We will be moving back to the US soon and are now applying for health insurance back in the US for when we return. They are asking for me to supply them with a certificate of coverage from our company in Switzerland to prove that we had continuous health coverage from the time we left the US previously until we will return. I know it's common practice that US companies have/offer/use such certificates.

Does anyone know if it will be an easy task to get this from our Swiss health insurer? The other demand is that is must be in English. They won't accept a cert. in any other language. When I call the company, does anyone know what they might call such a certificate and if it can be done in English? Thanks for any advice.

I had the exact same problem the first time that I moved back to the
US. Luckily, I received employer health insurance after 90 days.

It is best to call the insurance company and ask for a confirmation
in English. Probably, you should get a letter with a company stamp
on it, preferably with contact numbers in case of questions.

I'm sure you could get a confirmation issued in English.
